Olivari, Musketeers Open Homestand with 100-75 Victory Over Bryant

Quincy Olivari led five Musketeers in double figures with a game-high 22 points on Black Friday
CINCINNATI - Quincy Olivari led five Musketeers in double figures with 22 points on Friday afternoon as the Musketeers opened a six-game homestand with a 100-75 victory over Bryant.
The Musketeers improve to 4-2 on the year, while the Bulldogs drop to 3-4.
• Xavier scored a season-high 100 points behind a season-high 38 made field goals. The Musketeers posted a .559 field-goal percentage (38-for-68), the team's second-highest field-goal percentage this season. The Musketeers scored 100 or more points in a game for the first time since Dec. 16, 2022 (W, 102-89 at Georgetown).
• Xavier made a season-high nine 3-pointers (9-for-23). The Musketeers also dished out a season-high 17 assists and recorded a season-high 12 steals. Xavier forced a season-high 18 Bulldog turnovers.
• Xavier had five players score in double figures for the second time this season. The Musketeers also had five double-figure scorers vs Robert Morris on Nov. 6.
• Xavier never trailed in the game. The Musketeers raced out to a 22-12 advantage, the team's first double-figure lead of the game, with 10:29 left in the first half. Xavier never relinquished the lead and led by as many as 35 points (87-52) with 6:38 left in regulation.
• Quincy Olivari scored a game-high 22 points on 9-for-16 shooting with four 3-pointers. He added five rebounds, four assists and three steals. The guard has now scored in double figures five times this season.
• Gytis Nemeikša added 14 points on 6-for-7 shooting to go along with six rebounds. Desmond Claude and Dayvion McKnight both scored 11 points, combining to go 10-for-17 from the floor. Claude added a team-high four steals, while McKnight dished out a game-high eight assists.
• Lazar Djokovic rounded out the double-figure scorers with 10 points on 3-for-5 shooting. He added four rebounds, two assists and one steal.
• Xavier went 15-for-21 from the foul line, paced by Trey Green who was 4-for-4. Green finished with seven points, five assists and two steals.
• Xavier won the battle on the glass, 42-30, and held a 50-26 in points in the paint. The Musketeers also scored 24 more more fastbreak points (32-8) than Bryant.
• Xavier continues its six-game homestand on Monday, Nov. 27 vs Oakland. Tip-off is slated for 6:30 p.m. ET from Cintas Center with the game being aired nationally on FS1.
