Men's Tennis Picks Up Win No. 10 for the Season at Villanova

VILLANOVA, Pa. - Xavier men's tennis took a 4-0 win over Villanova on Friday evening, moving to 10-4 on the season. Xavier hit the 10-win mark for the a second-straight season, marking the first time the Musketeers have posted double-digit wins in back-to-back season since 2015-16.
Xavier remains in Philadelphia to face Temple tomorrow at 4:00 PM at UPenn.
In doubles play, Pascal Mosberger and Shashank Reddy took the 6-4 win on No. 1, their second doubles win as a pair and first in the No. 1 spot. Jorge Santamaria and Charlie Temming took the 6-4 win on No. 2 to help Xavier clinch the doubles point.
In singles play, Kyle Totorica took a 6-3, 6-3 win on No. 3, his fifth singles win of the season. Marco Pennelli won his fifth-straight singles match, his 11th singles win overall, on No. 4 with a 6-1, 6-2 decision. Jorge Santamaria helped set the final score at 4-0 Xavier with a 6-4, 6-1 win on No. 5 singles, his eighth singles in of the season and third straight.
