Musketeers will face off with NKU, Ball State and Dayton in double-dual format

CINCINNATI - Xavier men's tennis will open up the 2023 fall schedule at the University of Dayton, with the Musketeers taking part in the James O'Connell Memorial Tournament. The event will be held at the Graul Tennis Complex, running from Friday, September 15 through Saturday, September 16.

The tournament will feature the Dayton Flyers, NKU Norse and Ball State Cardinals in a double-dual format, and is set for a 8:45 a.m. start on both days. The Musketeers open up action on Friday morning with singles against the Flyers.

FALL SCHEDULE

Next, Xavier heads to the Youngstown State Invitational, running from Friday, Sept. 29 through Sunday, October 1.
Following the Tournament at Dayton, the Musketeers will next be in action at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional, running from Oct. 12 through Oct. 15 at UT Chattanooga.

THE MUSKETEERS

Xavier returns six letterwinners from last year's squad that finished the season at 12-9 overall.
The 2022-23 season marked a second-straight season with 12 wins, the first time the program had back-to-back 10-plus win season since the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
The Musketeer returners include Ryan Cahill, Pascal Mosberger, Marco Pennelli, Jorge Santamaria, Charlie Temming and Kyle Totorica.
Xavier also added a pair of freshmen, Alex Adamec and Cristian Gonzalez.
