Volleyball Reverse Sweeps the Georgetown Hoyas

The five-set match is highlighted by Carrigan O'Reilly's fifth career triple-double
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Xavier volleyball reverse swept (16-25, 26-28, 25-19, 25-21, 17-15) Georgetown on Saturday night.
The Musketeers move to 10-5 (3-1 BIG EAST) on the season and the Hoyas fall to 11-5 (2-2 BIG EAST).
Carrigan O'Reilly posted her fifth career triple-double in the five-set thriller.
• Carrigan O'Reilly led the Musketeers with a triple-double, a .429 hitting percentage, and five total blocks. The graduate setter totaled 10 kills, 35 assists, and 11 digs to earn the first triple-double of the season. O'Reilly raised her career total for assists to 3,867 and passed the 500 career kills milestone. With her 500 career kills and 1,000 career digs, O'Reilly becomes the only active NCAA DI setter to have reached both milestones.
• Brooklyn Cink, the graduate outside hitter, recorded her first double-double of the season with 10 kills and 17 digs. Cink tied the team-high in digs and added one block solo and one block assist to the team's 13 total.
• Four Musketeers totaled 10 or more digs in the five-set match. Cink and junior libero Lucia Corsaro recorded 17 each, a season-high for Cink, and were followed by senior defensive specialist Stevie Wolf with 14 and O'Reilly with 11.
• Redshirt junior middle blocker Sarah Stevens led the blocking efforts with two block solos and three block assists. O'Reilly followed with her one block solo and four block assists. Senior middle blocker Delaney Hogan tallied four block assists and sophomore outside hitter Caroline Speelman tied her career-high of two block solos.
• Five Musketeers served the Hoyas with a service ace for the team's total of five - Hogan, Cink, Corsaro, redshirt sophomore Emma Grace, and junior setter Logan Flaugh.
• Four Musketeers registered 10 or more kills in the reverse sweep. Hogan recorded the team-high with 13 and was followed by redshirt sophomore Anna Taylor with 12, and Cink and O'Reilly with 10 each.
• The Musketeers totaled 56 kills, 53 assists, 78 digs, 14 block assists, six block solos and five service aces in the five-set match.
• In the deciding set, there were eight tied scores and five lead changes, the highest in both categories of all five sets.
