Musketeers host Ball State on Wednesday

COLUMBUS - Xavier men's tennis fell, 7-0, at Ohio State on Sunday, moving the Musketeers to 0-3 on the season.

Xavier opens up home play next week, hosting Ball State at Eastern Hills Indoor Tennis Club on Wednesday, January 24 at 1:00 p.m.

The Match

In doubles play, the Buckeyes took the point with a 6-2 win on the No. 2 court against Kyle Totorica and Cristian Gonzalez and a 6-1 win on the No. 3 court against Charlie Temming and Alex Adamec.

In singles, on the No. 1 court Ohio State took a 6-1, 6-0 win over Pascal Mosberger. In No. 2 singles, Ryan Cahill fell 6-2, 6-2.

Charlie Temming fell 6-0, 6-2 on the No. 3 court, and Marco Pennelli fell, 6-0, 6-1, on the No. 4 court.

Cristian Gonzalez fell, 6-1, 6-1 on the No. 5 court and Alex Adamec played on No. 6 court, falling 6-3, 6-1.
