The Musketeers look to extend a two-game win streak in BIG EAST play.
CINCINNATI - The Xavier volleyball team wraps up a four-game road stint with two Top-30 matchups at No. 6 Creighton and RV Marquette this weekend.
ÂThe Musketeers are coming off a 2-0 weekend on the East Coast where they took down Seton Hall, 3-2, and Georgetown, 3-1.

ABOUT THE MUSKETEERs

- Xavier is currently in a three-way tie for fourth place in the BIG EAST standings and were picked to finish sixth ahead of the season.
- Margo Kemp was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week for the second time this season after averaging 2.89 kills and 0.89 blocks per set on a .446 clip. Against Seton Hall, the middle blocker recorded a career-high 14 kills on .591 hitting. Kemp's .382 hitting percentage ranks second in the BIG EAST and 41st in the nation.
- Logan Flaugh was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after contributing 11.78 assists and 3.22 digs per set to lead the Musketeers to an undefeated weekend. She tallied career-highs in all categories against SHU with 51 assists, 15 digs and four blocks. The senior setter improved her mark the next night with a career-best 55 assists at Georgetown to go along with 14 digs and three kills for her 12th career-double double. Flaugh ranks second in the BIG EAST and 21st in the nation with 10.52 assists per set.
- Libero Lucia Corsaro earned a spot on the Honor Roll as well as she tallied 20+ digs in both matches last weekend, a season-high 22 against Seton Hall to average 4.67 digs per set on the weekend.

- Creighton was unanimously picked to win the BIG EAST again this season after winning the last four straight BIG EAST championships and nine of the last 10 since joining the BIG EAST in 2013.
- The nationally-ranked Bluejays are currently 15-2 and 6-0 in the BIG EAST with Top-25 wins over No. 20 USC, No. 6 Purdue and No. 10 Kansas.
- Both of Creighton's losses this season were five-set battles against Top-5 teams, No. 5 Nebraska and No. 4 Louisville.
- Xavier is 1-24 all-time against Creighton, defeating the No. 11 Bluejays for the first time last season on Sept. 23, 2023 at home for the highest ranked win in program history.
- Kendra Wait ranks fourth in the nation averaging 11.22 assists per set and has been named the BIG EAST Setter of the Week six times this season.
- Preseason Player of the Year, Norah Sis, ranks third in the BIG EAST with 3.84 kills per set, earning Offensive Player of the Week honors three times.
- Kiara Reinhardt's 1.40 blocks per set ranks 17th in the nation.
- The Bluejays lead the conference in hitting percentage (.303), opponent hitting percentage (.138), assists per set (13.34), kills per set (14.34) and blocks per set (2.79).

- Marquette was picked to finish second in the preseason poll after finishing the 2023 regular season as co-champions with Creighton before falling in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Tournament to St. John's.
- The Golden Eagles were ranked No. 24 to start the season and are receiving votes in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll.
- Marquette enters the weekend with a 9-6 record and are 5-1 in the BIG EAST, with all but one of their losses coming from Top-15 teams including No. 5 Stanford, No. 13 Kansas, No. 8 Wisconsin, No. 1 Pitt and No. 6 Creighton.
- Xavier is 9-19 all-time against Marquette with the Golden Eagles having won the last 10 straight.
- Graduate student Carsen Murray leads the BIG EAST and ranks 37th in the nation with a .386 hitting percentage.
- Yadhira Achante ranks third in the BIG EAST averaging 10.09 assists per set while also leading the Golden Eagles with 3.25 digs per set.
- Aubrey Hamilton, a unanimous All-BIG EAST Preseason Team Selection, leads the team with 3.23 kills per set.
- Marquette averages a league-leading 17.00 digs per set in conference matches.
