CINCINNATI - The Xavier volleyball team defeated UConn, 3-2 (23-25, 25-15, 25-22, 20-25, 15-11), on Friday night in front of a home crowd at Cintas Center.

The Musketeers snapped the Huskies' six-game win streak while handing them just their third loss of the season.

Xavier improves to 7-12 (5-4 BIG EAST) while UConn moves to 18-3 (6-3 BIG EAST).

Anna Taylor led the Musketeer offense with 17 kills on a .333 clip to go along with two blocks.
Emma Grace followed up with 16 kills and a career-high 30 digs, marking her 21st career double-double. Her dig tally is the second-most by any BIG EAST player in a conference match this season.
Margo Kemp tallied 13 kills while hitting .478 and added four blocks including three solos.
Logan Flaugh broke her own career-high again with 56 assists while also recording 12 digs and three aces for her 13th career double-double.
Lucia Corsaro held down the back line along with 18 digs along with Kelsey Niesen who added 16 of her own.
Elouise Czajkowski aced the Huskies three times to match her career high.
The Musketeers combined for a season-high nine aces in the match.
Xavier's combined 94 dig tally is the most since Oct. 8, 2021 against Seton Hall (97).
XU hit .247 in the match for their best mark in conference play.
Led by Flaugh's record night, the team tallied a season-high 62 assists.
