Six Musketeers score in double figures as Xavier knocks down 16 three pointers
CINCINNATI - Six Musketeers scored in double figures on Tuesday night as Xavier moved to 3-0 following a 94-57 win over Jackson State (0-3) at Cintas Center.

Xavier continues its homestand on Saturday, Nov. 16 vs Wake Forest in the Skip Prosser Classic. Tip-off is slated for noon from Cintas Center with the game being aired nationally on FS1.

NOTABLE
- The Musketeers scored 11 straight points to open the game and never trailed in the contest. Xavier started the second half on a 9-0 run to take its first 20-point lead of the game, 49-25, at the 17:24 mark. The Musketeers led by as many as 38 points (92-54) with 1:27 left in regulation.
- Xavier finished the game with a .541 field-goal percentage (33-for-61) and hit 51.6 percent of its three pointers (16-for-31). The last time Xavier made 15 or more three pointers was on Feb. 4, 2023 vs St. John's (went 15-for-28 in a 96-71 win). This is the most for thr Musketeers since XUÂ hit a school-record 19 vs. Oklahoma on Dec. 9, 2020.
- Six Musketeers scored in double figures for the first time since March 19, 2023 vs Pitt in the second round of the NCAA Tournament (W, 84-73).
- Zach Freemantle scored a game-high 21 points on 8-for-11 shooting. The graduate student matched his career high in three pointers, going 4-for-5 from behind the arc. He added four rebounds and three assists. The Teaneck, N.J., native has scored 20 or more points in a game during his career 13 times.
- Trey Green added 15 points on 6-for-11 shooting with three 3-pointers. The guard now has eight career double-figure scoring games.
- Ryan Conwell added 14 points on 5-for-8 shooting with four 3-pointers. The guard added three assists.
- Dailyn Swain posted his first career double, scoring 10 points and grabbing a career-high 10 rebounds. He added two assists and two blocks.
- John Hugley IV scored 11 points on 4-for-7 shooting to go along with seven rebounds.
- Dante Maddox Jr. finished with 16 points on 4-for-7 shooting with four 3-pointers. He added five rebounds and two steals.
- Marcus Foster dished out a career-high eight assists. He added six rebounds and two points.
- Dayvion McKnight dished out six assists and scored five points.
- Xavier limited Jackson State to a .288 field-goal percentage (19-for-66). Both teams committed 10 turnovers and scored five points off of turnovers.
- Xavier held a 42-6 advantage in bench points and scored six more points in the paint (32-26). The Musketeers also score 21 more fastbreak points (31-10) than the Tigers.
- Xavier won the battle on the glass, 46-35. The Musketeers had 28 assists in the win, the most assists by a Xavier team since Jan. 21, 2023 vs Georgetown (31 assists in a 95-82 win).
