CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 4-0, close out the season-opening five-game homestand when they host the Siena College Saints, 3-1, on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. at Cintas Center. XU is looking to start the season 5-0 for the first time since the 2020-21 season.

The Musketeers hit the road after the Siena game, playing five of their next seven games away from Cintas Center.

• Xavier's Ryan Conwell was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll on Nov. 18 for his efforts last week in wins over Jackson State and Wake Forest, averaging 17.5 points, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game while committing just one turnover.
• Xavier graduate student Dayvion McKnight, a preseason Second Team All-BIG EAST selection, has averaged 13.5 ppg. and a team-high 4.8 apg. McKnight, who earned a spot on the BIG EAST Honor Roll on Nov. 11, is second in the BIG EAST with an 6.3 assist-to-turnover ratio.
• Xavier graduate student Zach Freemantle, a preseason Second Team All-BIG EAST selection, is second on the team in scoring (tied for eighth in the BIG EAST at 17.0 ppg.) and leads the team in rebounding (tied for 10th in BIG EAST at 6.8 rpg.).
• Xavier sophomore Dailyn Swain has started the first four games and contributed 8.5 ppg., 6.5 rpg. (second on the team) and 2.8 apg. Swain ranks second in the BIG EAST in defensive rebounding at 6.0 drpg. and is tied for 12th in the BIG EAST in overall rebounding.
