Lacrosse Announces 2025 Signing Class

Genevieve Hathaway, Addi Joerres and Riley Ohrel signed with the Musketeers.
CINCINNATI - Head Coach Meg Decker announced the additions of three new signees that will join the team for the 2026 season.
ÂGenevieve Hathaway is a midfielder from Charlottesville, Virginia where she attends Western Albemarle High School.
ÂAt Western Albemarle, Hathaway was a four-year varsity player where she was a two-time State Champion, a three-time District and Regional Champion. She was named to the 1st Team All-Central VA, All-State, All-Region and All-District Teams. Hathaway has played club for CavLax Elite since 2017 and was a member of the USA Lacrosse National Team for Virginia and Women's World Festival U16 Team.
ÂHathaway plans to major in exercise science at Xavier. She is the daughter of Kelley and Bruce Ramsey Hathaway and has a twin brother, Jack. Her father Ramsey played basketball at Roanoke College where her mother Kelley also played soccer. Her brother Jack is committed to Loyola University Maryland for swimming.
ÂAddi Joerres is a midfielder from Reisterstown, Maryland where she attends Maryvale Preparatory School.
ÂAt Maryvale, Joerres played three years on the varsity lacrosse team where she helped the team to back-to-back semi final appearances. Her varsity lacrosse team has been ranked No. 4 in the nation. She played club lacrosse for the M&D team for seven years where her team was ranked in the Top-60 for the past four years.
ÂJoerres is currently undecided in her major at Xavier. She is the daughter of Annemarie and Daniel Joerres and has three siblings, Andy, Nick and Matt. Her father, Daniel was part of the track & field team at the University of Minnesota. Her brother Andy played lacrosse at Towson University.
Riley Ohrel is a goalie from Arlington Heights, Illinois, where she attends Saint Viator High School.
At Saint Viator, Ohrel is a four-year varsity player, earning the captain title her senior year. She has earned All-Conference Honors in 2023 and 2024 as well as All-Sectional and All-Second Team Honors in 2023 and All-State Honor Mention in 2024. Ohrel plays club for Lakeshore Lacrosse where she has been named a New Balance All-American Highlight in the Midwest region as well as an American Select Midwest.
Ohrel plans to major in advertising at Xavier. She is the daughter of Les and Heather Ohrel and has two siblings, Savannah and Madeline.
