Rexroat Set to Compete in Singles, Nugent and Owen Pair up in Doubles at ITA Conference Masters

Play gets underway on Thursday, Nov. 7 in Rome, Ga.
CINCINNATIÂ - Xavier women's tennis had three players selected to represent the BIG EAST at the ITA Conference Masters Championships, with Madeleine Rexroat competing in singles and Abby Nugent and Clara Owen pairing up for doubles.
The tournament gets underway on Thursday, Nov. 7 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 10 at Berry College in Rome, Ga.

- The 2024 ITA Conference Masters Championship will have a draw size of 32 for Singles and 32 for Doubles. From this, four players (4) will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship (semifinalists). Meanwhile, three doubles teams (3) will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship through the Conference Masters (champion, finalist, third place).
- Each NCAA AQ-eligible, Division I conference designated one singles player and one doubles team from each gender to participate in the event. Those players can be designated through the use of a conference tournament to be completed no later than October 27, 2024., or through an alternate selection process determined by the conference office and its members.
DRAWS
- Madeleine Rexroat will open play in singles on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 11:00 a.m., taking on Noelia Lorca of Tarleton State.
- Abby Nugent and Clara Owen will open up doubles play on Thursday, Nov. 7, taking on Fordham's Nevena Kolarevic and Julianne Nguyen, set for a 5:30 p.m. start.
