Xavier looks to maintain its spot at fifth place in the BIG EAST standings.
CINCINNATI - The Xavier volleyball team travels to the Northeast this weekend to face Villanova and St. John's for two matchups with BIG EAST Tournament implications on the line.
The Musketeers swept SJU earlier in the season at home before being swept by the Wildcats two days later.
Xavier is currently in fifth place in the BIG EAST standings while Villanova sits at sixth and St. John's at seventh with three weeks of regular season play remaining. The conference tournament welcomes the top six teams and will take place November 27-30 in Omaha, Nebraska.

- Logan Flaugh was named the BIG EAST Setter of the Week for the second straight week after leading the conference with 12.43 assists per set. She dished out 52 assists with 10 digs and four kills against Georgetown for her 15th career double-double.
- Lucia Corsaro earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season after leading the league with 6.14 digs per set. She tallied 20+ digs in both matches last weekend including a season-high 22 digs in the three-set loss against Seton Hall.
- Emma Grace was also named to the Weekly Honor Roll after ranking second in kills per set (4.43) and third in digs (5.14). She logged a career-high 22 kills along with 18 digs and a pair of blocks in the Musketeers' win over Georgetown.
- Margo Kemp's .402 hitting percentage ranks second among league competitors, earning her BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors three times already this season. She has the third-highest hitting percentage among all rookies in the nation.
- The Musketeers lead the league at 17.09 digs per set with four players averaging above 2.50 d/s including Corsaro (3.86), Grace (3.84), Niesen (2.78) and Flaugh (2.63).
- Villanova is currently 13-10 with a 6-6 BIG EAST record that places them at sixth in the conference standings.
- Xavier is 12-9 all-time against the Wildcats, despite losing the previous matchup this season, 3-0.
- Abby Harrell averages 3.16 kills per set and 0.35 aces per set to lead the Wildcat offense.
- Villanova hit a season-best .346 in their sweep of Xavier earlier in the season with Harrell tallying a team-high 12 kills.
- Rookie setter Alyssa Nelson has earned BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors once this season.
