VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Xavier volleyball team lost a 3-1 match (20-25, 25-18, 25-27, 24-26) to Villanova on Friday night.

VU completes a series sweep of Xavier after sweeping the Musketeers at home earlier in the season.

The Musketeers fall to 9-14 (7-6 BIG EAST) while the Wildcats improve to 14-10 (7-6 BIG EAST).

Emma Grace recorded her 24th career double-double in the match with 18 kills and 10 digs.
Lucia Corsaro led the backline with 16 digs, her third-straight double digit performance.
Reigning BIG EAST Setter of the Week Logan Flaugh dished out 41 assists and nine digs, one shy of her 16th career double-double.
Freshman Kelsey Niesen added 10 digs and a season-high three digs as a defensive specialist.
Sarah Stevens recorded seven kills on a .333 clip to go along with five blocks.
Anna Taylor, Charlotte Moriarty and Margo Kemp each added seven kills of their own.
Kemp tallied a career-high three aces for the second time this season.
