Men’s Soccer Adds Cristiano Fitzgerald to 2025 Roster

The forward joins the Musketeers from the University of Maryland
CINCINNATI - Xavier head men's soccer coach John Higgins announced the signing of Cristiano Fitzgerald on Thursday.
"Cristiano has great experience in Portugal with Boavista and due to that is a very technical player," said Higgins. "He will operate in the 9 or 10 for us and is crafty in tight spaces. Is also very comfortable drifting wide and going at defenders 1v1. He will add creativity in the final 3rd for us."

Joins the Musketeers from the University of Maryland (2024)…played in seven matches, logging 119 minutes on the year… logged a season-high 36 minutes vs San Diego State on Sept. 9… helped the Terrapins to a 9-6-5 (5-3-2 Big Ten) record and a NCAA Tournament Second Round Appearance… played for De Anza Force, Boavista FC and CF Estrela Amadora.
