Musketeers host Butler on March 3
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Pascal Mosberger and Christian Gonzalez picked up singles wins as Xavier men's tennis fell, 5-2, at Bellarmine on Thursday afternoon.
Next week, Xavier is set to host Butler on Sunday, March 3.

In doubles play, the Knights took the first decision, winning the No. 3 court against Kyle Totorica and Jorge Santamaria, 6-2. Ryan Cahill and Pascal Mosberger combined for a 6-3 win on the No. 1 court, but Bellarmine took the point with a win in tiebreaks on No. 2 against Charlie Temming and Cristian Gonzalez, 7-6 (3).
Bellarmine moved ahead 2-0 with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Ryan Cahill on No. 1 singles and made it a 3-0 lead with a win over Marco Pennelli, 6-4, 6-2, on No. 3 singles.
Pascal Mosberger took a 7-6 (2), 7-6 (4)Â win on the No. 2 court to cut the lead back to 3-1.
Bellarmine took a 6-4, 6-1 win over Alex Adamec to clinch the win at 4-1.
Christian Gonzalez picked up a 6-2, 7-5 win on No. 5 while Charlie Temming fell 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 on No. 4 to set the final score at 5-2 in favor of the Knights.
