RIO VERDE, Ariz. - Xavier women's golf sits in first place after two rounds of golf at the Rio Verde Invitational. The three-day tournament is being hosted by Western Michigan at the White Wing Golf Course at Rio Verde Country Club.
The Musketeers posted a score of 291 (+3) on Friday and hit 284 (-4) on Saturday. Xavier has a 36-hole score of 575 (-1), one stroke ahead of Cal Baptist (576, E).
Individually, Kara Carter ranks first with a score of 137 (-7). She has a one-stroke lead over Esther Lee from Cal Baptist (138, -6).
