CINCINNATIÂ - Xavier women's tennis travels down the road to Louisville, taking on the Cardinals on Saturday, March 23, set for a 1:00 p.m. start.

- Louisville is 4-11 on the season with wins over EKU, Kennesaw State, Austin Peay and Furman.

WEEKLY AWARDS
- After sweeping BIG EAST opponent Butler on Sunday, Xavier women's tennis swept the BIG EAST Weekly Awards on Monday, with Imani Graham taking BIG EAST Singles Player of the Week, while Abby Nugent and Ellie Brotherton were named the Doubles Team of the Week.
- Graham, a senior from St. Johns, Fla., took the the No. 1 singles court, 6-1, 6-1, for her ninth singles win of the season on Sunday. The win helped the Musketeers to the 7-0 sweep of Butler, Xavier's third BIG EAST win of the season and 11th overall. This is Graham's first Singles weekly award of the season. She, combined with Anna Roggenburk, have earned Doubles Team of the Week three times this season.
- Brotherton, a freshman from Cleveland, Ohio, and Nugent, a sophomore from Springboro, Ohio, combined to pick up a 6-3 on the No. 2 doubles court against the Bulldogs, helping Xavier take the point on the way to the 7-0 sweep of Butler on Sunday. The win marked the pair's eighth doubles win as a team, and helped Xavier to an 11th team win, including a 3-0 record against BIG EAST teams. This is the pair's first weekly award of the season.

LAST TIME OUT
- Xavier women's tennis fell to Notre Dame, 4-0, at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center in Louisville, Ky., last Sunday.
- In doubles action, the teams split the first two decisions, with Emily Flowers and Sofia Mazzucato combining for a 6-2 win on the No. 3 court, and Imani Graham and Anna Roggenburk falling, 6-2 on the No. 1 court. The Fighting Irish took a 7-6 (3) win over Ellie Brotherton and Abby Nugent on the No. 2 court to clinch the point.
- In singles, Notre Dame picked up wins on the No. 2 court, 6-3, 6-3, against Anna Roggenburk, on the No. 3 court, 7-5, 6-0, against Abby Nugent, and on the No. 6 court, 6-2, 6-3, against Emily Flowers to seal the win at 4-0.
- When the match was decided, Imani Graham was tied 4-4 in a second set after falling in the first on the No. 1 court. Abigail Siminksi led 5-3 in the second set after falling in the first on court No. 4 and Sofia Mazzucato led 2-1 in the second set after falling in the first on No. 5.
THE MUSKETEERS
- Xavier returns six from last year's squad that brought home the program's third-straight, and fourth overall, BIG EAST Championship and earned Xavier's fourth bid to the NCAA Championships.
- The 2022-23 Musketeers finished the season 14-8 overall with a 6-0 record against BIG EAST opponents.
- Among Xavier's returnees are 2023 BIG EAST Player of the Year, Imani Graham, and BIG EAST Freshman of the Year, Abby Nugent.
- Anna Roggenburk, Blessing Nwaozuzu, Emily Flowers and Abigail Siminski also return for the Musketeers.
- Xavier added a pair of freshmen, Ellie Brotherton and Sofia Mazzucato.
- The Musketeers also added Elizabeth Pendergast, a transfer from Cincinnati, who joined the program in the 2024 spring semester.
