Xavier hosts Tennessee State on Sunday, April 7

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Xavier men's tennis wrapped up the weekend on the east coast, falling the Navy, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon.

Xavier returns home to host Tennessee State on Sunday, April 7 at the Jim and Mary Brockhoff Family Tennis Center.

The Match

The Midshipmen took the doubles point with a 6-3 win over Marco Pennelli and Kyle Totorica on the No. 3 court and then clinching the decision on the No. 1 court.

Navy made it a 2-0 lead with a 6-4, 6-3 win on the No. 3 court against Marco Pennelli and extended the lead to 3-0 with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) win against Pascal Mosberger on the No. 2 court.

Charlie Temming picked up a point for the Musketeers on the No. 4 court, 7-5, 3-6, 6-2, but Navy clinched the match with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 win over Ryan Cahill on the No. 1 court.
