Day One Action Complete at BIG EAST Outdoor Track and Field Championships

The championship meet concludes on Saturday, May 11 at 1 p.m.
VILLANOVA, Pa. - Xavier wrapped up day one action at the BIG EAST Championships on Friday night. The two-day meet is being held at Jumbo Elliott Track at Villanova Stadium.
Seven student-athletes posted top-10 marks in the Xavier record books.
Liam Willman placed eighth in the 400-meter hurdles (56.05) for the highest men's team finish. He also advanced to Saturday's finals heat.
Amy Prugh was the lone Musketeer to record points, placing fifth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase - posting the fifth fastest time in school history (10:42.75).
Running events on day two of the BIG EAST Championships begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 11.
