WGCA All-American Scholars Announced

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The 2023-24 WGCA All-American Scholar Team was announced on Monday with 1,498 women's collegiate golfers from 412 programs recognized with this prestigious honor.

Kara Carter, Erin Kim, Madison Reemsnyder, Darrelyn Webster and Emma Welch earned the honors for Xavier. Carter, Kim, Reemsnyder and Welch were also named 2024 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team selected by College Sports Communicators on June 25.

The Musketeers captured their fifth straight BIG EAST Championship on April 22 and competed in its fifth straight NCAA Regional on May 6-8 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Carter, Kim and Welch also earned All-BIG EAST honors at the conclusion of the season.

WGCA CRITERIA

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and continue to demonstrate the high-level academic achievements of our players. To be selected, a student-athlete must:

Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season.
Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
