Men's Golf Announces 2024-25 Schedule

CINCINNATI - Xavier head men's golf coach Brian Arlinghaus announced the team's 2024-25 schedule on Wednesday afternoon.

The Musketeers open their fall schedule on Sept. 15 at the JT Poston Invitational in Waynesville, N.C.

NOTABLES

Xavier announced the hiring of Tyler Goecke as an assistant coach on Aug. 2 following a standout collegiate career at Illinois and Wright State.
Xavier earned the 2023-24 GCAA Outstanding Team Academic Award on July 30. The Musketeers posted a 3.69 team grade point average last season. Xavier was one of 59 NCAA Division I programs to earn Presidents Special Recognition for having over a 3.50 GPA.
Carson Bellish, Zach Burton and Oscar Zimmerman were named 2023-24 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars. Recipients participated in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, had a stroke average under 76.0 and maintained a 3.20 grade point average or higher.
Carson Bellish was named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team selected by College Sports Communicators on June 25. The sophomore golfer ranked tied for first on the team in stroke average (73.1) during the 2023-24 season. He also had three top-20 finishes, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the JT Poston Invitational on Sept. 26.
Xavier placed fifth at the BIG EAST Championships on April 29. The fifth-place finish is Xavier's highest team finish at the BIG EAST Championships since 2017 (also finished fifth). The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 887 (+23).
Xavier added three newcomers to the 2024-25 roster in Kellen Dean (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), Kyle Smith (Canton, Ohio) and Leo Walling (Powell, Ohio).
