The Musketeers defeated the Purple Aces, 2-0, at Corcoran Field
CINCINNATI - Xavier men's soccer posted its third straight shutout on Tuesday night, defeating Evansville, 2-0, in non-conference action at Corcoran Field. The Musketeers improve to 4-2-3, while the Purple Aces drop to 4-5-1.
Xavier returns to BIG EAST action at DePaul on Saturday, Sept. 28. First touch is set for 3 p.m. ET from Wish Field.

- Xavier's defense has not allowed a goal in 272:47. The last time the Musketeers allowed a goal was in the 77th minute at No. 21 Ohio State on Sept. 8.
- Xavier held an 11-7 advantage in shots and took four more shots on goal (5-1). Xavier now has six matches on the year with 10 or more shots.
