Individually, freshman Ivanna Flores placed 26th to pace the Musketeers

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Xavier women's golf placed 14th at the Boilermaker Classic on Tuesday afternoon, the team's first tournament of the 2024-25 season.

The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 930 (+66). Individually, freshman Ivanna Flores paced the Musketeers - placing tied for 26th with a score of 228 (+12).

Purdue won the tournament, posting a score of 879 (+15) - finishing 14 strokes ahead of Minnesota (893, +29). Kent State finished third with a score of 895 (+31).

Purdue's Natasha Kiel took home medalist honors with a score of 211 (-5). Ryann Honea (Abilene Christian) finished second with a score of 213 (-3), while Isabella McCauley (Minnesota) placed third (214, -2).

Xavier returns to action on Sept. 20-22 at the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greenville, S.C.
