Women's Lacrosse Announces 2025 Schedule

The third season of the program will feature 15 games including six played at Corcoran Field.
CINCINNATI - Xavier women's lacrosse Head Coach Meg Decker announced the 2025 schedule ahead of the program's third official season. The Musketeers open the spring schedule on February 15 at Akron and will play five straight road games.
Xavier will travel down the road to face crosstown rival Cincinnati on February 26 before heading south for a matchup at Duke on March 2.
XU will then travel to Tampa, Florida for two games to wrap up the road stretch. The Musketeers face off with Bucknell on March 7 before playing host USF in the Bulls' inaugural season on March 9.
Xavier will host six games at Corcoran Field this year starting with Gardner-Webb's first visit to Cincinnati on March 13. The Musketeers play nine straight games against non conference opponents to start the season, including four teams for the first time in program history.Â
Wofford and Louisville will visit the Musketeers on March 16 and 19, respectively, for the final two games before BIG EAST play begins.
The BIG EAST slate features three home games and three road games against all six opponents. The Musketeers will look to obtain their first BIG EAST win in program history.
Xavier hosts reigning conference champion Denver at Corcoran Field on March 23 to get conference play underway. The Musketeers will then hit the road to face Marquette on March 29 before returning home for the final two games at Corcoran Field against Georgetown on April 5 and Villanova on April 12.Â
XU will make another trip out to the East Coast for a matchup at UConn on April 19 before taking a break from conference play to visit Vanderbilt on April 23. The Musketeers will wrap up the regular season on the road at Butler on April 26.
The BIG EAST Tournament will be played at Villanova this year, hosting the top four teams in the regular season standings from May 1-3. The Musketeers are seeking to make their first BIG EAST Tournament appearance this season.
