Emma Grace Records 1000th Career Dig In Xavier's Sweep of DePaul

The Musketeers earned their sixth straight win and fourth sweep of the season.
CHICAGO - The Xavier volleyball team won its sixth straight match with a road sweep of DePaul on Saturday night to improve to 7-1 in the BIG EAST. The Musketeers remain in second place in the league standings behind No. 13 Creighton.
Four different Musketeers finished with double digit kills in the match as the Musketeers hit .299 as a team.
Both teams hit above .300 in the first set with three Musketeers and four Blue Demons recording at least three kills in the opening frame. Emma Grace hit an error less .353 on six kills in the offensive battle as XU took a 25-22 win.
After a back-and-forth start to set two, DePaul went on a late 10-1 run to make it a 24-20 game in their favor, but XU fought off five set points to fight for a 29-27 win a take a 2-0 lead in the match.
Xavier hit a match-high .314 in the final set behind six kills on a personal .625 clip from McKinley Boehm. The redshirt freshman also assisted on all three of Xavier's team blocks in the set to hold DePaul to just 10 kills in the set.
Xavier improves to 17-2 with a 7-1 league record while DePaul 11-8 with a 4-4 mark in conference play.

Xavier returns to Cintas Center next weekend to kick off a four-game home stand. The Musketeers will host St. John's on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and Seton Hall on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in Cintas Center.
