Xavier Volleyball Wins 20th Match

The Musketeers swept Seton Hall on Saturday afternoon to improve to 9-0 at home with a 20-2 overall record.
CINCINNATI - The Xavier volleyball team took down Seton Hall in straight sets on Saturday afternoon in Cintas Center.
The Musketeers continue their nine-match unbeaten home streak with the win and improve to 9-1 in league play.
XU reaches 20 single-season wins for the first time since 2022 and just the second time since 2016.
Xavier hit a season-high .345 in the match with seven players recording at least four kills each. 16 players saw action in the match.
Emma Grace led the Musketeers to a 25-15 first set win, tallying five kills alone while XU hit a match-high .480 in the opening frame.
McKinley Boehm tallied all four of her kills in the second set and added two blocks as Xavier cruised to a 25-13 set win, never relinquishing their lead after a 2-1 start.
XU closed out the final set behind four kills each from Charlotte Moriarty and Quinci Thomas while the defense notched 18 digs en route to a 25-19 final set win.
Xavier improves to 20-2 with a 8-1 league mark while Seton Hall falls to 6-15 and 0-10 in BIG EAST play.

Xavier continues their homestand into next weekend to host Villanova and Georgetown. The Musketeers will face the Wildcats on Friday night in Cintas Center with first serve set for 6:00 p.m.
