The Musketeers improved to 5-3-2 on the year
DAYTON, Ohio - Xavier men's soccer picked up a 2-0 win at Wright State on Tuesday night in the non-conference finale for the Musketeers.
Xavier improves to 5-3-2 on the year, while the Raiders drop to 1-9-1.

NOTABLES
- Freshman Harun Bakaran scored his third goal of the season in the second minute of the match. It was the quickest goal for the Musketeers this season (Xavier's previous quickest goal of the season was scored by Cooper Forcellini in the fourth minute at Evansville on Sept. 10).
- Cooper Forcellini recorded his first assist of the season. He now has a team-leading 19 points on the year (nine goals; one assist). The midfielder now has 29 career points (12 goals, five assists).
- Jabari De Coteau scored his first career goal on Tuesday night, becoming the ninth different Musketeer to score a goal this season. The junior defender now has three career points (one goal, one assist) in 33 career matches.
- George Waites recorded his first assist of the season. The senior midfielder now has five points on the year (two goals, one assist) and 12 career points (two goals, eight assists).
- Jonny Mennell (3-2-1) posted his third shutout of the season and made three saves.
- Jonny Mennell has a 16-14-12 career record with 19 shutouts and a 0.98 goals against average (fourth in school history). He has tied Justin Marshall (2009-12) for the most shutouts in school history.
- The Musketeers now have 21Â goals in 10Â matches on the year (only had 14 goals in 17 matches last season).
- Xavier took four more shots (16-12) than the Raiders, including five more shots on goal (8-3). Wright State took one more corner kick (6-5) and committed four more fouls (14-10).
- Wright State was issued five yellow cards, while Xavier was issued one.
- Harun Bakaran paced nine Musketeers who recorded a shot with a match-high five shots. Cooper Forcellini added three shots, while Cristiano Fitzgerald had two.
- Xavier moves to 3-0-1 in the last four meetings vs Wright State.
- John Higgins has posted a 27-16-20 record in four seasons at Xavier. His teams have posted 28 shutouts in 63 matches.
