CINCINNATI - Roddie Anderson III scored a career-high 29 points in Monday's 87-68 loss to Santa Clara at Cintas Center.
The Musketeers return to action at Iowa on Friday, Nov. 14. Tip-off is slated for 8 p.m. ET from Carver-Hawkeye Arena with the game being aired nationally on FS1.

NOTABLES
- Santa Clara never trailed in the game and led by as many as 30 points (83-53) with 2:51 left in regulation. Xavier closed the game on a 15-4 run to make the final score, 87-68.
- Roddie Anderson III scored a career-high 29 points on 7-for-16 shooting. He was also 3-for-6 from behind the arc and 12-for-16 from the foul line. His previous career high was 28 points vs Long Beach State on Jan. 21, 2023 (as a member of the UC San Diego team).
- Roddie Anderson III added three rebounds, three assists and two steals. The guard is now averaging a team-high 17.0 points per game this season.
- Tre Carroll added 21 points on 7-for-12 shooting. He added four rebounds, two assists and one steal. The forward has scored in double figures every game this season, averaging 14.3 points per game.
- Filip Borovićanin chipped in nine points, four rebounds and three assists. Malik Messina-Moore dished out a team-high four assists.
- Xavier finished with a .339 field-goal percentage (19-for-56) and went 5-for-18 from behind the arc. The Musketeers were also 25-for-34 from the foul line.
- Santa Clara hit 54.7 percent (35-for-64) of its shot attempts and went 5-for-13 from three-point range. The Broncos were also 12-for-17 from the foul line.
- Santa Clara scored five more points off of turnovers (20-15) than Xavier and held a 52-22 advantage in points in the paint. The Musketeers scored five more fastbreak points (20-15).
- Santa Clara also scored 25 more bench points (30-5) than Xavier. Both teams scored 16 second-chance points.
- Five Broncos scored in double figures, paced by Elijah Mahi who scored 18 points. Allen Graves posted a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
