Musketeers are looking to bounce back from a Friday loss to Georgia.

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 3-3, take on the West Virginia University Mountaineers, 5-1, on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. in the third-place game of the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic. Xavier is looking to bounce back from a 78-77 loss to Georgia on Friday night.

Xavier has won the last two meetings with WVU, including a BIG EAST-Big 12 Battle matchup victory in the 2022-23 season.

• Xavier, 3-3, is coming off a 78-77 loss to Georgia on Friday night. Xavier rallied from a 14-point second-half deficit to take the lead. Graduate student Tre Carroll led Xavier with a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds while sophomore Jovan Milićević had 19 and sophomore All Wright added 17.
• Xavier has four players averaging in double figures in scoring through six games: graduate student Tre Carroll (15.7 ppg.), senior Roddie Anderson III (13.0 ppg.), sophomore Jovan Milićević (12.5 ppg.) and sophomore All Wright (10.7 ppg.).
• Xavier sophomore Jovan Milićević grabbed at least a share of the team scoring lead for the third-straight game on Friday with 19 points. He has raised his scoring average to 12.5 ppg.
• Xavier graduate student Tre Carroll, who leads the team in scoring at 15.7 ppg., is the only Musketeer who has scored in double figures in all six games.
• Xavier sophomore All Wright scored 17 points vs. Georgia. His four treys included a go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:38 left. Wright scored 20 on Nov. 18 vs. ODU.
• Xavier senior Filip Borovićanin had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds with four assists vs. Georgia on Friday. The 12 rebounds tied his collegiate career high. Borovićanin is tied for 10th in the BIG EAST in rebounding at 6.5 rpg.
• Xavier has used four different starting lineups through six games. Seven different players have started at least two games. Graduate student Tre Carroll and senior Malik Messina-Moore are the only players that have started all six games.
• Xavier returns no scholarship letterwinners for the first time in school history.
