CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 7-3 overall and 0-0 in the BIG EAST Conference, host the Missouri State University Bears, 4-4 overall and 0-0 in Conference USA, on Friday night at 7 p.m. at Cintas Center. Xavier, coming off last Friday's win over Cincinnati and this week's semester exams, is looking for its fifth-straight victory.

The Missouri State game is the fourth game of a season-high five-game homestand. Xavier opens BIG EAST Conference play on Wednesday, Dec. 17 vs. Creighton at 6:30 p.m. at Cintas Center.

• Xavier, 7-3, is coming off its fourth-straight win, a 79-74 victory over crosstown rival Cincinnati last Friday in front of a Cintas Center record crowd of 10,880.
• Xavier graduate student Tre Carroll earned USBWA National Player of the Week and BIG EAST Conference Player of the Week honors after averaging 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in wins over Saint Francis and Cincinnati last week.
• Xavier graduate student Tre Carroll, who leads XU in scoring at 17.3 ppg. (fourth in the BIG EAST), is the only player who has scored in double figures in every game.
• Xavier leads the BIG EAST and is fourth in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.03. XU leads the BIG EAST in assists and is 32nd in the nation at 18.5 apg.
• Xavier senior Malik Messina-Moore leads the BIG EAST Conference and is sixth in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 4.78.
