HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - Xavier women's golf ranks first in the team standings at the BIG EAST Championships after one round of action. The three-day tournament is being held at Riverton Pointe Golf and Country Club.

The Musketeers hit 298 (+10) on Saturday, finishing nine strokes ahead of Butler (307, +19). Georgetown ranks third with a score of 308 (+20).

Individually, Emma Welch paces the Musketeers with a score of 73 (+1) - ranking second. Seton Hall's Marta Aguilar leads the field with a score of 71 (-1).
