OMAHA, Neb. - The Xavier baseball team fell to Creighton 6-5 on Saturday night in a walk-off win by the Bluejays at Charles Schwab Field. Xavier falls to 29-23 overall and 13-7 in BIG EAST while Creighton improves to 34-13 and 14-3 in the league.

Nolan Tucker doubled in the first inning to record the Musketeers' first hit and Clay Burdette drove him in for the first run of the game with a sacrifice fly to center.

Isaac Wachsmann singled in the top of the fourth to record his first RBI of the night. The Bluejays responded in the bottom of the frame with one run of their own to make it a 2-1 game.

Wachsmann hit another RBI single in the fifth inning to extend the Xavier lead to 3-1, but Creighton plated two more runs in the frame to tie the game and another in the sixth to take their first lead.

Wachsmann delivered again in the seventh frame with the bases loaded, driving in his third RBI of the night to tie the game once more. The Bluejays had another response to retake their lead in the eighth, but Wachsmann drove in his season-high fourth RBI in the ninth inning before Creighton walked it off in the bottom of ninth.

Nolan Tucker was 2-4 on the night including a double and scored three of Xavier's runs.
Carter Hendrickson also went 2-4 at the plate and recorded a stolen base.
Connor Misch recorded one hit and scored one run for the Musketeers.

Ben Weber pitched 4.2 innings, recorded two strikeouts and allowing three earned runs.
Nick Boyle struck out three batters and only allowed two hits in 1.2 innings of work.
Trevor Geddes came in from the bullpen to face one batter which he struck out.
