ALL-BIG EAST HONORS
- Xavier had four golfers earn All-BIG EAST honors on May 2. The Musketeers also picked up Coaching Staff of the Year honors.
- Head coach Jenco and assistant coach David Patz earned the honors for the sixth time in program history. Coach Jenco also picked up the honors in 2016, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
- Kara Carter was selected to the all-conference team for the fourth time in her career. She becomes only the second Musketeer to be a four-time BIG EAST honoree (Mikayla Fitzpatrick - 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021). The Kingsport, Tenn., native leads the team in stroke average (74.4) and has five top-10 finishes on the year with two, first-place finishes. She has a career 74.6 stroke average in 121 rounds of action with 16 top-10 finishes.
- Madison Reemsnyder earns the honors for the second time in her career (also earned in 2023). She ranks third on the team in stroke average (75.0) and has six top-10 finishes. The Canton, Ohio, native has a 74.5 career stroke average in 89 rounds of action with 11 top-10 finishes.
- Emma Welch was also selected to the all-conference team for the second time in as many seasons. She earned medalist honors at the BIG EAST Championships in 2024 and 2025, becoming only the second golfer to earn the honors more than once. The Lakeville, Minn., native ranks fourth on the team in stroke average (75.9) and has three top-10 finishes. She has a 76.1 career stroke average in 68 rounds of action with five top-10 finishes.
- Isabel Brozena is one of two freshman on the all-conference team. The North Reading, Mass., native ranks second on the team in stroke average (74.6) and has five top-10 finishes.
NOTABLES
- Xavier punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament by winning the BIG EAST Championship on Sunday, April 21. The Musketeers won their sixth straight conference title by 23 strokes, the largest margin of victory since 2003. The six conference titles are also the most by a single team in BIG EAST history.
- All five of Xavier's golfers finished in the top-10 at the BIG EAST Championships, highlighted by Emma Welch who took home medalist honors at the championship for the second time in as many seasons.
- Since the start of the 2022-23 season, the Musketeers have now posted 13 top-five finishes with five tournament titles and four runner-up finishes.
- Xavier ranks 79th in the nation in the latest SCOREBOARD / Clippd rankings (May 4), the only team in the BIG EAST ranked inside the top-100. Kara Carter is the highest ranked individual for the Musketeers at No. 351.
- Kara Carter, Erin Kim, Madison Reemsnyder, Darrelyn Webster and Emma Welch were named to the 2023-24 WGCA All-American Scholar Team on July 1.
- Carter, Kim, Reemsnyder and Welch were also named 2024 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team selected by College Sports Communicators on June 25.
- Madison Reemsnyder won the 2024 Ohio Women's Open on June 13. Emma Welch won the MGA Women's Amateur on July 30 and earned a spot at U.S. Women's Amateur.
- Newcomer Isabel Brozena won the Massachusetts Girls Junior Am on Aug. 9. She also won the MIAA State Individual Championship in 2023 and 2024.
