Baseball Falls in Game One at Creighton

Game two set for 7 PM ET in Omaha on Saturday
OMAHA, Neb. - Xavier baseball put together a ninth-inning rally in game one at Creighton, but fell, 6-3, at Charles Schwab Field Omaha on Friday evening. Xavier moved to 29-22 overall and 13-6 in BIG EAST play.
Creighton took a 3-0 lead in the second inning, and made it a 6-0 lead with a three run seventh inning.
Connor Misch led off the ninth with his third hit of the day, and moved to second on a single from Isaac Wachsmann and scored on a double from Aedan Anderson. A single from Jason Jelic brought in Wachsmann and Anderson to cut the lead to 6-3, but the Musketeers were unable to drive in another run, falling by three.
Game two with the Bluejays is set for a 7:00 p.m ET start on Saturday evening on FloCollege.
