Musketeers are looking to snap a two-game losing streak.

CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 11-9 overall and 3-6 in the BIG EAST Conference, hit the road for Newark, N.J., this week. XU plays the Seton Hall University Pirates, 14-6 overall and 4-5 in the BIG EAST, on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. at the Prudential Center.

Graduate student Tre Carroll has been on a tear lately. Carroll, who leads the BIG EAST in scoring at 18.0 ppg. and is second in field goal percentage at 50.7 percent, has averaged 29.7 ppg. over the last three games.

• Xavier, 11-9 overall and 3-6 in the BIG EAST Conference, is coming off an 88-83 loss to St. John's on Saturday despite 31 points from graduate student Tre Carroll.
• Xavier graduate student Tre Carroll has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll this week, the fourth time this season he has earned BIG EAST honors, including the second-straight week. He averaged 30.0 ppg. and shot 66.7 percent vs. Creighton and St. John's.
• Xavier's Tre Carroll leads the BIG EAST in scoring at 18.0 ppg. and is second in field goal percentage at 50.7 percent. He is second on the team and 12th in the league in rebounding (5.6 rpg.) and first on the team and sixth in blocks (1.3 bpg.).
• Xavier leads the BIG EAST and is fifth in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.96. XU leads the BIG EAST in assists and is 10th in the nation at 19.1 apg.
• Xavier senior Filip Borovićanin has recorded seven double-doubles in scoring-rebounding, which ranks third in the BIG EAST and 35th in the nation. He has 30 assists and just five turnovers over the last four games and just missed scoring-assists double-doubles twice.
• Xavier's Filip Borovićanin leads the team in rebounding (fourth in the BIG EAST at 8.1 rpg.), assists (third at 4.7 apg.), steals (ninth at 1.6 spg.) and assist-to-turnover ratio (second in the BIG EAST at 3.03).
• Xavier senior Malik Messina-Moore is second on the team in scoring for BIG EAST games at 16.4 ppg., which ranks eighth in the league. Messina-Moore has raised his season average to 11.2 ppg. He is third in the BIG EAST in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.00.
• Xavier sophomore Jovan Milićević is third on the team in scoring at 11.5 ppg. and is sixth in the BIG EAST in 3-point field goals per game (2.0). He has averaged 16.3 ppg. over the last four games.
• Xavier graduate student Roddie Anderson III, who is second on the team in scoring at 12.1 ppg., is one of five Musketeer double-figure scorers. Xavier is 9-3 when it has four or more players score in double figures.
