Tre Carroll's 22 points lead three Musketeers in double figures
NEWARK, N.J. - Three Musketeers hit double figures as Xavier men's basketball fell, 86-68, to Seton Hall on Wednesday evening at the Prudential Center.
The Musketeers moved to 11-10 (3-7 BIG EAST), while the Pirates improved to 15-6 (5-5 BIG EAST).
Xavier returns to Cintas Center to host DePaul on Saturday, Jan. 31. The Musketeers and the Blue Demons are set for a 1:00 p.m. start on FS1.

- Xavier hit the opening basket and never trailed in the first half, going ahead by as many as 13 before going into halftime up 41-30. Tre Carroll led all scorers in the first half with 22 points. The Musketeers shot 56.7Â from the floor in the first half, going 17-30 overall, and 14-17 on two-point baskets in the opening half.
- Seton Hall opened the second half with a 14-0 run to take its first lead of the game less than four minutes into the second half. The Pirates never relinquished the lead, going ahead by 18 in the final minute on the way to the 86-68 win.
- Tre Carroll led the Musketeers with 22 points, shooting 8-of-10 from the floor in the first half.
- Jovan Milicevic added 16 points for the Musketeers.
