The senior forward scored 16 points in Saturday's 68-66 win at Cintas Center
CINCINNATI - Filip Borovićanin hit the game-winning basket as time expired vs DePaul on Saturday afternoon, lifting the Musketeers to a 68-66 win at Cintas Center.
Xavier overcame an 18-point deficit in the second half to snap a three-game losing streak.
The Musketeers improved to 12-10 (4-7 BIG EAST) on the year, while the Blue Demons moved to 12-10 (4-7 BIG EAST).
Xavier returns to action at UConn on Tuesday, Feb. 3. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. from PeoplesBank Arena with the game being aired nationally on Peacock.

- The Musketeers trailed by as many as 18 points (57-39) with 13:35 left in regulation. Xavier responded by outscoring DePaul, 29-9, on 8-for-13 shooting to finish the game. Defensively, the Musketeers limited the Blue Demons to 4-for-16 shooting to finish the game.
- Filip Borovićanin scored 12 of his 16 points over the final 13:35. The forward added six rebounds and a team-high four assists.
- Tre Carroll scored a game-high 21 points on 8-for-18 shooting to go along with six rebounds. The forward added two blocks and two steals.
- Malik Messina-Moore rounded out the double-figure scorers with 13 points. The guard added three assists, one rebound and one steal.
- Isaiah Walker pulled down a team-high seven rebounds in 26 minutes of action off the bench. The guard added three points, two steals and one assist.
- All Wright finished with five points, two assists and one rebound.
- Xavier posted a .460 field-goal percentage (23-for-50) and went 6-for-17 from behind the arc. The Musketeers were also 16-for-19 from the foul line. Xavier hit 54.5 percent of its shot attempts (12-for-22) in the second half.
- DePaul finished with a .492 field-goal percentage (29-for-59) and went 8-for-24 from behind the arc. The Blue Demons were 0-for-1 from the foul line.
- DePaul won the battle on the glass, 31-29, and scored five more second-chance points (9-4). The Blue Demons also scored 10 more bench points (13-3) and held a 34-20 advantage in points in the paint. DePaul scored five more fastbreak points (7-2).
- Xavier scored four more points off of turnovers (16-12) than DePaul.
