All Wright leads three Musketeers in double figures with 14 points
HARTFORD, Conn. - Xavier men's basketball fell, 92-60, to No. 3 UConn on Tuesday evening at PeoplesBank Arena.
The Musketeers dropped to 12-11 (4-8 BIG EAST) on the year, while the Huskies improved to 22-1 (12-0 BIG EAST).
Xavier remains on the road for its next match up, taking on St. John's at Madison Square Garden on Monday, Feb. 9. The Musketeers and the Red Storm are set for a 6:30 p.m. start on FS1.

- UConn opened the game on a 10-0 run and never trailed, leading by as many as 28 in the first half and going in the break up 50-22. All Wright had seven first-half points to lead Xavier.
- In the second half, the Huskies would extend the lead out to 34 in the opening minutes before Xavier used a 13-3 run to cut the lead to 67-43. Connecticut would push the lead back into the 30s, going ahead by as many as 38 before winning by a margin of 32, 92-60.
- All Wright led Xavier with 14 points, connecting on 8-of-9 free throws. He also had a pair of steals.
- Malik Messina-Moore finished with 10 points, connecting on 2-of-3 from three and 4-of-4 from the free throw line.
- Roddie Anderson III also had 10 points and a pair of assists.
- Tre Carroll added nine points for the Musketeers, grabbed a team-high five rebounds and had a pair of assists.
- Xavier finished shooting 36.7 percent for the game after connecting on 47.6 of its second half shots. The Huskies finished shooting 56.7 from the floor.
- Each team had 13 turnovers but UConn outscored the Musketeers 22-16 in points off miscues.
- Connecticut finished with a 41-24 advantage on rebounds, holding a 29-16 advantage on the defensive boards and a 12-8 advantage on the offensive glass. Each team has six second-chance points.
- UConn outscored Xavier 46-20 on points in the paint and 17-3 on fast-break points.
