Men's Tennis Takes 5-2 Win Over Cleveland State

Xavier returns to the courts tomorrow to host Northern Kentucky at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio, set for a 2:00 p.m. start.

In doubles, Xavier took the first decision, with Samuel Frizelle and Bode Campbell taking a 6-2 win on the No. 3 court, and Alex Kotarski and Andrew Spurck clinched the point with a 6-4 win on the No. 2 court.
Xavier made it a 2-0 lead with a 6-3, 6-3 win for Samuel Frizelle on the No. 4 court, and a 6-4, 6-3 win for Alex Kotarski on the No. 3 court made it a 3-0 Xavier lead.
CSU picked up a win on the No. 5 court with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Andrew Spurck, and took a 6-3, 6-4 win on the No. 1 court against Nick Herdoiza to cut the lead to 3-2.
Xavier picked up the final two decisions, with Bode Campbell winning on the No. 6 court, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3, and Max Pettingell taking a 6-7 (3), 6-3, 7-6 (3) win on No. 2 to set the final score at 5-2.
