Josh Stonehouse Earns a Spot on First BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Freshman finished with six hits, five runs scored
NEW YORK - After batting .500 with six hits and five runs scored to help Xavier secure a series victory during the opening weekend of the 2026 season, Josh Stonehouse earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced on Monday.
Stonehouse, a freshman from Camarillo, Calif., started all three games in right field, batting second in the lineup, as the Musketeers opened the season with a 2-1 series win at East Carolina.
Stonehouse was 2-for-3 at the plate in his first collegiate appearance on Friday, helping Xavier to the 4-3 win in the season opener. In Xavier's 9-3 win in game two to secure the series victory, Stonehouse went 3-for-5 with two runs scored. In the series finale, he knocked in a pair of RBIs with his first home run of the season.
Xavier returns to action on Tuesday, traveling to Louisville for a mid-week match-up, set to get underway at 3:00 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
