Saturday's Butler game is the first of two-straight road tests.

CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 13-13 overall and 5-10 in the BIG EAST Conference, visit the Butler University Bulldogs, 14-13 overall and 5-11 in the BIG EAST, on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Xavier will be trying to bounce back from a 92-89 overtime loss to Villanova on Tuesday, XU's second overtime loss in the last three games.

Xavier, which leads the series 51-27, will be shooting for its fifth-straight win in the series and its seventh win in the last eight meetings.

• Xavier and Butler are competing as members of the BIG EAST Conference for the 13th-straight year. Xavier and Butler have also competed in the Atlantic 10 Conference and the former Midwestern Collegiate Conference (now Horizon League).
• Xavier, 13-13 overall and 5-10 in the BIG EAST Conference, is coming off a 92-89 overtime loss to Villanova on Tuesday despite 28 points on 11-14 shooting and 10 rebounds from graduate student Tre Carroll.
• Xavier graduate student Tre Carroll leads the BIG EAST in scoring at 18.4 ppg. and is third in field goal percentage at 50.8 percent. He is second on the team and 11th in the league in rebounding (5.9 rpg.) and first on the team and sixth in blocks (1.3 bpg.).
• Xavier sophomore Jovan Milićević posted a second-straight 20-point game on Tuesday vs. Villanova, finishing with 20 points and career highs of nine rebounds, five assists and three blocks. He had a career-high 23 points while hitting 5-7 3-pointers vs. Marquette on Feb. 14.
• Xavier's Jovan Milićević is second on the team in scoring at 12.0 ppg. and seventh in the BIG EAST in 3-point field goals per game (2.0). He has averaged 14.9 ppg. over the last 10 games.
• Xavier senior Filip Borovićanin leads the team in rebounding (fourth in the BIG EAST at 7.8 rpg.), assists (fifth in the BIG EAST at 4.4 apg.) and assist-to-turnover ratio (third in the BIG EAST at 2.74). Borovićanin posted his team-high ninth double-double of the season (third in the BIG EAST) with 15 points and 11 rebounds with seven assists vs. Marquette on Feb. 14.
• Xavier senior Malik Messina-Moore is second on the team in scoring for BIG EAST games at 13.9 ppg., which ranks tied for 16th in the league. He has scored in double figures in 13 of XU's 15 BIG EAST games .
• Xavier leads the BIG EAST and is 13th in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.76. XU is second in the BIG EAST in assists and 15th in the nation at 18.2 apg.
