Men's Tennis Takes 6-1 Win at IU Indy for Third Straight Win

The Musketeers are set for a pair of matches next weekend, hosting Drake on Friday, Feb. 27, then traveling to Cleveland to face St. John's on Sunday, March 1 at Cleveland State.

In doubles, Samuel Frizelle and Max Pettingell took the first decision, a 6-4 win on the No. 2 court. Nick Herdoiza and Alex Kotarski clinched the point for the Musketeers on the No. 1 court with a 6-4 win.
Bode Campbell made it a 2-0 lead with a 6-4, 6-0 win on the No. 6 court, his third-straight, and fourth overall, singles win. Nick Herdoiza made it a 3-0 advantage, taking a 6-3, 6-2 win on the No. 1 court.
Max Pettingell clinched the match for the Musketeers on the No. 2 court, taking a 6-0, 7-5 win to make it a 4-0 Xavier lead.
The Jags picked up a point on the No. 3 court, a 6-2, 4-6, 10-4 win against Alex Kotarski. Xavier picked up the final two decisions, a 7-6 (7), 6-3 win for Samuel Frizelle, and a 7-6 (2), 7-5 win for Andrew Spurck on No. 5, to set the final score at 6-1.
