ORLANDO, Fla. - Xavier women's tennis swept a two-match day at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, topping BIG EAST foe Creighton, 4-0, in the morning, then taking a 4-0 win over UPenn in the evening.

Xavier returns to action on Thursday, March 19, hosting Arizona at 3:30 p.m. Following the match with the Wildcats, the Musketeers return to the courts on Sunday, March 22, hosting Cleveland State at 1:00 p.m.

The Match - CREIGHTON

Abby Nugent and Clara Owen took a 6-2 win on the No. 1 doubles court in the first decision, and Natalie Smitek and Emily Flowers took the No. 3 court, 6-2, to clinch the point.

The first singles decision came on the No. 2 court, with Madeleine Rexroat taking the point after her opponent retired. Ella DeFord won on the No 4 court, 6-1, 6-2, to make it a 3-0 lead.

Natalie Smitek took a 6-4, 6-3 win on the No. 5 court to clinch the win at 4-0.

Ella DeFord picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win on the No. 4 court to make it a 2-0 Xavier lead. Clara Owen made it a 3-0 Xavier advantage with a 6-3, 6-0 win on court No. 5.

Natalie Smitek clinched the match at 4-0 with a 6-3, 7-5 win on court No. 6.
