Ella DeFord and Madeleine Rexroat took a 6-2 win on the No. 2 doubles court, and Natalie Smitek and Emily Flowers combined for a 6-2 win on the No. 3 court to take the doubles point for Xavier.
Madeleine Rexroat, ranked No. 104 in the most recent ITA rankings, picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win on the No. 2 court to make it a 2-0 lead for Xavier. Emily Flowers made it a 3-0 Xavier advantage with a 6-4, 6-2 win on the No. 3 court.Â
Clara Owen clinched the match at 4-0 with a 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 win on the No. 5 court.Â
Ella DeFord picked up a fifth point for the Musketeers on court No. 4, 6-2, 4-6, 10-2. Miami picked up points on No. 6, 2-6, 7-6 (5), 10-6, against Abigail Siminski, and 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 win on No. 1 against Abby Nugent.
