PRIOR TO XAVIER: Experience playing for Sun Prairie High School and GRB Rays...Was a four-year starter for Sun Prairie, playing both catcher and pitcher...Closed out his junior year with Big 8 Second Team All-Conference honors...Earned team Gold Glove award after posting a .300 batting average, collecting 13 runners caught stealing...Posted a 6-1 record with a 1.50 ERA on the mound for a team that went 24-8 and finished state runners-up.
