Steve Strublecame to Xavier as a Graduate Program Assistant after spending the previous two as an assistant men's basketball coach at St. Mary's College of Maryland. In his first season, Struble helped St. Mary's record its first winning record since 2000-01 and last season he helped the team win a conference championship, earn the school's first ever NCAA berth and reach the NCAA Division III "Sweet 16."
Struble's duties include assisting in scouting and film exchange.
Struble, 25, gained valuable experience working as a student assistant men's basketball coach at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania for two seasons (2004-06).
He serves as the director of the Chris Harney Basketball School Camps in addition to the numerous other summer camps that he works such as the Army Summer Basketball Camps, the Big Orange Basketball Camp at Syracuse University, the Eastern Invitational Basketball Camps, the Five-Star Basketball Camp, the Morgan Wooten and Penn State University Basketball Camps.
Struble is a 2006 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a degree in health and physical education.
