Connor Mahoney joined the Xavier men's soccer program as the director of operations in the spring of 2025.
Mahoney oversees the day-to-day operations of the program. He also assists in creating content for the team's social media accounts and writes player feature stories.
Prior to working with the soccer program, Mahoney was a freelance storyteller for Xavier Athletics in 2024 - writing feature stories on every women's basketball player and other Musketeer student-athletes.
Mahoney was also communications intern for Indy Eleven in 2023. He created in-game social media posts, wrote feature stories on players/coaches and created game notes.
Mahoney was the sports editor for The Reflector, the University of Indianapolis student newspaper, from 2022-23. He also assisted in the athletics department during his time at UIndy.
Mahoney hold's a bachelor's degree in sports communications and marketing from UIndy ('24). He is set to graduate from Xavier in December of 2025 with a master of business administration.
