Justin Gibson was hired as a graduate assistant for women's basketball in July of 2022. Gibson will assist in the daily operations of the program with a focus in video/film exchange.

Gibson joins the Musketeers from Louisiana-Monroe where he was a member of the basketball team from 2019-22. He served as a team manager in 2019-20 before becoming a walk-on in 2020-21 and a scholarship player in 2021-22. Gibson began his playing career at Schreiner University (2018-19).

He served as assistant coach/recruiting coordinator for the Louisiana Fire Youth Basketball Organization from 2017-22 and has sales experience with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (2021).

The Gonzales, La., native holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Louisiana-Monroe (’22).
