Musketeer Men Fall At Toledo 6-1

TOLEDO -- The Xavier men's tennis team is still looking for its first win of 2012 as the Musketeers fell at Toledo 6-1 Friday afternoon. With the loss, the Musketeers fell to 0-3 on the season.
"We fought really hard tonight," said Xavier assistant coach Doug Matthews. "If we compete this well every match we will have a good season. We need to play better at key moments and hopefully that happens tomorrow against Detroit."
Sophomore Mesa Mei was a bright spot for the Musketeers as he posted a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles. At No. 1 doubles, Mei teamed with fellow sophomore Jimmy Roebker for an 8-4 win however those wins weren't enough as the Rockets held off XU for the win.
Xavier continues the 2012 season tomorrow at Detroit. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
