Men's tennis heads to Louisville for the weekend
Men's Tennis Draws
Cincinnati, OH – Xavier men's tennis is back on the courts after two weekends off. They are traveling down to University of Louisville in Louisville, KY for the Louisville Fall Invitational.
The Musketeers left off from the WMU Invite with an 18-22 singles record and a 20-12 doubles record. The Louisville Invitational is set up so that each player is in their own flight with equal competition level. There will be multiple flights, meaning there will be multiple flight champions. The team will be competing against a number of teams including Mighigan, Austin Peay, Louisville, Wright State, Memphis, Lipscomb, Bellarmine, Illinois State, Tennessee Tech, Dayton, and Campbellsville.
The tournament is scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning and go into Sunday.
Jeremy Schneider, Jack Dykema, Gabriel Araujo, Nick Werner, Nate Dell, Matthew Graft, Trent Smith and Matt Bishop will be representing Xavier at the invitational.
"We are excited to get back on the courts and compete this weekend," head coach Doug Matthews said. "We have to solidify our doubles teams and just keep improving on our singles play and we will be fine."
